Photo Set 3 Organized by the Ministry of Culture in collaboration with the French Institute, the first edition of Jazz International Festival of Port-au-Prince took place at Parc Historique Canne à Sucre on March 4th, 2007. The event gatherered local and international Jazz musicians. The goal of the festival is to market Haiti in a high fashion way and promote jazz, which is of African American origin. This initiative is the result of 37 years of promotion by Radio Métropole, one of the organizers. Roll over the top of the image for a rolling thumbnail list of all the photos.
